What is a Keyboard Shortcut?
Most Keyboard shortcuts are combinations of two or more keys that perform a certain task in a program or Operating System.
Knowing the right shortcuts can help improve productivity and save you time. This post include a few of the most useful keyboard shortcuts for Windows, Google Chrome and WordPress Editor.
Here are 5 Windows Shortcuts I use everyday:
- Win+E: To open Computer or This PC.
If you press the combination in windows 10 then quick access will probably open. If you like to change it to This PC, go to File Explorer > File > Change Folder And Search Options
Change Open file Explorer to: This PC and Press OK
- CTRL + F: To perform a quick search in a browser, PDF or Word Document.
- CTRL + P: To open the Print Window.
- CTRL + SHIFT + ESC: Open Task Manager quickly.
- ALT + TAB: I use this shortcut to quickly switch between open applications.
